Still on Cloud 9- very glad you can't see the fact that I was definitely trying not to cry tears of joy in this picture
I’m so overwhelmed and excited for this next year — what an honor to be selected as the new Miss Chattanooga!!

What a whirlwind of a few weeks -- I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and collect my thoughts and write thank you notes!

I’ve loved getting to know my new home these last few months while adjusting to the Master’s Of Business program here at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

A lot of people may not have known this but I almost attended UTC for my undergraduate degree; and during my time as Miss Scenic City, I fell in love with Chattanooga all over again and knew I wanted to move back.
So, when the opportunity presented itself to enroll and use my Miss Tennessee scholarship towards pursuing an MBA at one of the most acclaimed programs in the nation, I jumped at the chance to make my home here.

I’m still figuring out all parts of This new amazing place but I’m loving every minute.
I owe so many thank you’s to so many people-
from Robin for staying up so late with me working on a last minute talent selection,
to Steve Roten for pushing me to be my best self onstage, to my incredible parents that drove all the way to Chattanooga in the middle of moving to cheer for me... I am so so grateful to have so many amazing people in my corner.

But you know what's
even more exciting than winning Miss Chattanooga?

I get to go to Jackson with my best friend Kendall, who just so happens to be Miss Nashville!

This year is going to definitely be the best one yet -- I'm OVER the moon to get to share this incredible year with such a kind, beautiful soul and to see what this year holds of the both of us.

(this is probably where I should put a disclaimer that you'll see an overload of pictures of the two of us together this year...You've been warned 😄)

We might be a little excited for this year together

Slightly proud of Kendall when she won. I might've screamed louder than the loudest pageant mom in history.

I'm so unbelievably excited to share this year with my amazing sister queens, Meredith and Kristen and to to start on this new adventure with two kind, incredible women and to see what journeys they embark on this year.

I can’t wait to share pictures and videos with you when I get them soon — but for now I’m headed to work on lots of fun Database homework--

Thank you all so much for all of your love, support, and encouragement - I'm so excited for what this year holds!

Be sure to like my Facebook Page and follow my year of service!

"Perhaps you were created for this very moment."

The crown that sits on your head is a reminder that you are not the one that is to be adored for your sparkly accessories but a reminder that you are an ambassador and a servant leader for your community.

    love,
