Miss Tennessee 2018My involvement with the Miss Tennessee Pageant Organization began my senior year of high school; I was drawn to this organization because of all the positivity I saw radiating from the women involved and representing the organization, that genuinely wanted to make a difference in their communities and through their personal causes.
I wanted to be a part of something that let me give back to my community and would help me excel in today's entrepreneurial world. On Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Carl Perkins Jr. Civic Center of Jackson, I was crowned Miss Tennessee 2018! I was so incredibly humbled and honored to be chosen for the Miss Tennessee Quality of Life Award, and to walk away as a Talent Preliminary Award Winner and the Lifestyle & Fitness Preliminary Award Winner! Thanks to the Miss Tennessee Program, I have been awarded almost $50,000 in Scholarship to date. During my year, I travelled more than 80,000 miles across the state, thanks to the support of incredible partnerships to make this year possible and sponsors who believe in our program! I was so honored to serve the state of Tennessee this year as the Governor's Character Education Spokesperson and spoke to over 73,000 students in Tennessee Schools about the character trait of respect. I continued to promote my Platform of Alzheimer's Awareness throughout our state continuing my work with the Alzheimer's Association but also by partnering with the Tennessee Respite Coalition as an honorary board member, and the Governor's Commission on Aging and Disability. During my year of service, I travelled the state as Tennessee's State Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, to continue fundraising, volunteering, and raising awareness for Tennessee's Five Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. I also served as the Honorary Board Chair for Volunteer Tennessee, an Ambassador for the Tennessee Brain Games & as an Honorary Board Member of the Tennessee Respite Coalition. I published my first ever Children's Book, Memories Matter. This book describes a little purple elephant named "Ellie", whose grandpa is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I created this book as a tool to explain Alzheimer's disease to young children and provided talking points in the back of the book for further discussion for educators, counselors and parents. It is available on Amazon as an eBook and print book! |

In October of 2017, I was fortunate enough to be crowned Miss Chattanooga 2018. I was so excited to have taken home the overall talent award, overall evening gown, overall onstage question, and overall swimsuit awards!
I loved serving the community I lived in and learning the job of Miss Tennessee on a local level, and getting to immerse myself into understanding the job of Miss Tennessee as a local titleholder. Vertical Divider

In October of 2016, I was crowned the 15th Miss Scenic City and went on to represent the Scenic City and placed First Runner Up at the Miss Tennessee 2017 Scholarship Pageant, taking home $9,000 in scholarship dollars!
I also had the honor of receiving first runner up to the Quality of Life Award for the recognition of my work with the Alzheimer's Association. |

Miss Mountain Empire 2016The following year as Miss Mountain Empire 2016, I went on to continue my service with the Alzheimer's Association and Children's Miracle Network,
and finished as Third Runner up at the Miss Tennessee 2016 Scholarship pageant, taking home over $7,000 in scholarship dollars! I was so honored to be named 2nd Runner Up to the Miss Tennessee Quality of Life Award for my service in my community for Alzheimer's Awareness! Vertical Divider

Miss Smoky Mountains 2015Following my year as Miss Memphis, I went on to win the title of the first ever Miss Smoky Mountains, earning a $5,000 scholarship!
At the Miss Tennessee 2015 scholarship pageant, I placed second runner-up and was so incredibly grateful to have received an $8,000 Scholarship for my placement! Vertical Divider

Miss Memphis 2014 My involvement with the Miss Tennessee Pageant Organization began my senior year of high school; I was drawn to this organization because of all the positivity I saw radiating from the women involved and representing the organization, that genuinely wanted to make a difference in their communities and through their personal causes.
I wanted to be a part of something that let me give back to my community and would help me excel in today's entrepreneurial world. I competed in my first pageant at just 17 years old. After much trial and error, I won my first local title at 18 and became Miss Memphis 2014. I was so humbled and grateful to have the chance to represent my hometown, in addition to joining the sisterhood and legacy of the longest running Tennessee Pageant. During my year, I had the chance to learn the ins and outs of being a titleholder, and what the job of Miss Tennessee was, through learning from the reigning Miss Tennessee 2013, Shelby Thompson. At the Miss Tennessee 2014 pageant, I was selected as the People's Choice Award winner and received a non-finalist award. |
