Advocacy

One of the most important parts of my work in my local community is about serving others.
I have had the incredible opportunity to work with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Alzheimer's Association, and Tennessee Schools as the Governor's Character Education Spokesperson.
I've also had the chance to work with amazing organizations over the past years such as CASA, The Forever Young Foundation, the Santa Train, Autism Speaks U, Enable America, and so many other incredible organizations.

​The Alzheimer's Association


​I chose my personal platform of Alzheimer's Awareness through being a caregiver for my maternal grandfather for 11 years, and through the heartbreak of losing four family members to this devastating disease.

No child should have to look into their grandparent's eyes and feel the confusion and fear that comes when they are faced with this devastating disease. 

​I've partnered with the Alzheimer's Association in their efforts,
as a state appointed Congressional Advocate for Tennessee
and as the National Ambassador on the Association's behalf,
in a joint effort to end Alzheimer's Disease.

With a new diagnosis being given every 65 seconds, more than 5.7 Million Americans are diagnosed and living with Alzheimer's disease in our nation to date,
and 120,000 of those Americans are right here in Tennessee.

I wrote a Children's Book called Memories Matter to explain Alzheimer's to Children on an elementary level, and the book provides talking points for families to continue the discussion about Alzheimer's disease.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals


​Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is the national platform of the Miss America Organization that each titleholder actively promotes.

Tennessee currently has 5 CMN Hospitals that I speak on behalf of, fundraise for, volunteer with, and visit frequently!

I'm proud to serve as the State Goodwill ambassador for Tennessee for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals! It is truly an honor to work with this incredible organization and to make miracles happen for children in Tennessee.

During my time as Miss Chattanooga, I had the chance to work with my local CMN Hospital, Erlanger Children's, on fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and special events to promote our "Believe!" initiative, to build a BRAND NEW Children's hospital!

My love for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has only grown through my hands on volunteer work with patients and their families- I am so humbled to have the chance to make an even greater impact in our state through our fundraising campaigns and initiatives to find cures for these children. 

These hospitals provide care to families and children that wouldn't otherwise be able to afford treatment, depending on situations, they also provide housing as well!
