3/13/2017

I thought I'd post a little bit about workshop wrap up since workshop weekend has come and gone and now i am SO excited for June!! I had way too much fun in jackson hanging out with the teens, princesses, and of course my beautiful Miss Tennessee sisters! Keep scrolling below to find out what happened!

Attending the Iris Tennessee Teen pageant with Miss Jackson's Outstanding Teen and Miss Henderson County's Outstanding Teen!

To kick off workshop weekend, the Iris Tennessee Teen pageant was held on Friday night and some of the Miss Contestants and the Teen contestants came to cheer on the girls competing that evening. We had an absolute ball at the first ever ITT pageant cheering for friends and family and getting to see pageant family that we haven't had the pleasure of being around in quite some time. (Plus it was wonderful breaking up the competition so that the teens compete separately- the ITT pageant was only two hours! That's my kind of competition!)

Saturday morning kicked off The Miss Tennessee contestant workshop! All 36 Contestants gathered in the basement of the Carl Perkins Civic Center In Jackson to hear about the rules, regulation, and rundown of how Miss Tennessee week in June works.

At the end of the day we all picked our contestant number as we were selected in random order to choose and I selected to be contestant Number 23 in Group B.

During Competition week I will compete as follows:
June 21, Wednesday - Evening Gown and Onstage Question
June 22, Thursday - Talent
June 23, Friday - Lifestyle and Fitness
June 24, Saturday - Finals

A HUUUUGE Shoutout To Jim Norton and Decades Inc. for helping me find my wardrobe for workshop day! This dress was so comfortable and figure flattering - thank you for always helping me look my best!

Thank you AGAIN to Jim Norton and Decades Inc. For helping me find this dress! It's actually surprisingly comfortable- thanks again for making me feel glamorous!!

Finally on Saturday Evening, all of the Miss Tennessee contestants sat together to watch the Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen Pageant and to cheer for our teen crowns. Autumn Arsenault of Green County took home the crown after playing a fabulous rendition of a mashup of "Phantom of the Opera" songs on her violin- Congrats beautiful girl! Each of the Miss Contestants introduced ourselves onstage so that the crowd had a first look at who will be competing for the title of Miss Tennessee 2017 in June. (You can check out our introductions here.)

I'll leave y'all with this- shoot me a message if you would like tickets to Miss Tennessee in June,
I will be competing June 21-24 in group B as contestant number 23!

I hope to see y'all in Jackson!

All my love,

Christine Electra

"Perhaps you were created for this very moment."

The crown that sits on your head is a reminder that you are not the one that is to be adored for your sparkly accessories but a reminder that you are an ambassador and a servant leader for your community.

    love,

    Christine Electra
